Ms Sharell Horwath, long time Needs from the Heart co-coordinator with Mary Ziegler, will in 2008, be accepting a new position as Bee Kind Garden coordinator. Ms Ziegler has contacted Betty Hartman to step in as a replacement volunteer to help Mary with shopping and delivering requests for items most children are able to take for granted.

Ms Ziegler and Ms Horwath have spent hundreds of hours shopping for and delivering 193 wishes for a total of 1072 filled requests during the past nine years. Foster children requests are diverse and include bicycles, sports and music lessons, toys, beds and cribs, therapeutic toys, clothing, musical instruments, car seats, camp scholarships, safety gates, school pictures and yearbooks.
